(Our Law is that) (a) Injunctions given in<br />

In other words, it means that a better iqjunction (i.e., verse<br />
of <strong>All</strong>ah) was given in lieu of the repealed injunction and<br />
similar to the forgotten messages (i.e., Verses of <strong>All</strong>ah)<br />
were revealed. That is why the Qur'lIn has mentioned<br />
explanations of the abrogation, adulteration, and<br />
. modification of the previolls Divine BookS at various<br />
places. At one plaee, the Qm"lIn says:<br />
