conduct. One who leads a life of Taqwa is called Muttaqi.<br />

Its plural is Muttaqeen.<br />

Nubuwwah: It is the reception of the revelation of<br />

Divine Guidance. by tllIbiya or 1'1lsuL It ended with<br />

Muhammad (PBUH). The Guidance revealed to him is<br />

preserved and ellshrined fully and exactly in the Qur'rut.<br />

The function of risaJah, or the delivery of the Divine<br />

Message to all mankind and the establishment of a social<br />

order in accordance with its principles, has devolved upon<br />

the nation or UmlfUlh that believes in that Book, that is, the<br />

Qur'lIn.<br />

Pundit: It is the one who is well-versed in Hindu<br />

religious lore.<br />

RU!lul: It is the long succession of Divine Messengers of .<br />

God. And Rasill is the each one of this long succession of<br />

Divine Messengers ofGod, who came from time to time to<br />

mankind with a Code of Divine Guidance, and established<br />

a socio-economic order based on the permanent values<br />

embodied in that Code.<br />

Shar'a and Minhaj: It is the outward form of<br />

observance idealized.<br />

Shirk: It is the only W1forgivable sin in the Que'lin. It is <br />

the' association of partners with <strong>All</strong>ah, whether it is the <br />

. human world or the physical world or the obedience to laws <br />

in contradiction·to those revealed in the Que'lin. Those who <br />

do so are called mushrikee". This includes creating <br />

divisions . within. the Muslim community tfirough <br />

sectarianism,..
