REGISTRATION & FINANCING
ONLINE REGISTRATION
New and returning students can now register online.
Online registration requires an active email address and
valid credit card for payment.
Go to www.cps.ccny.edu and follow the online instructions
for new or returning students. For additional assistance,

DISCOUNTS
Senior citizens receive a discount of $25 off the price
of any course $99 or more (except computer courses).
CCNY faculty, staff, and students receive a 10% discount
on courses (exclusions may apply). Discounts cannot be
combined with other offers.
REFUND POLICY
Refund requests must be submitted in writing (via fax, email,
or in person) 10 business days prior to the first day of
class. If CPS cancels a course a 100% refund, including the
registration fee, will be given. If the student withdraws at
least 10 business days prior to the first day of class a 100%
refund will be given (less the $25 registration fee). No
refund will be given after the first class session. There are no
refunds on one- or two-day workshops. Credit card refunds
are credited to the card used to register. Money order and
business check payments are refunded via a check mailed
four weeks after a course withdrawal or cancellation.
GRANTS & SCHOLARSHIPS
INDIVIDUAL TRAINING GRANTS (I.T.G.)
I.T.G’s are accepted as payment for approved
certificate programs. I.T.G. students also receive job
search preparation and assistance. For more information
please contact or visit your local Workforce 1 Center.
DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS
We accept VA vouchers for certificate training programs.

PLEASE NOTE
Classroom information will be posted in Shepard Hall,
Room 2, on the first day of class. Books and other course
materials are not included in the cost of a course
(unless noted). You are expected to bring required
textbooks with you on the first day of class.
CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS
Continuing and Professional Studies Certificate
Programs are designed to equip adults with the
appropriate level of skills in the least amount of
time possible to prepare them for the workforce.
Most programs require at least a High School
diploma or GED for acceptance. Please refer to the
specific Certificate Program page to view additional
prerequisites or visit our website:
