Registration Memory<br />

Registering <strong>the</strong> Panel Settings<br />

Set up <strong>the</strong> panel controls as required.<br />

<strong>Press</strong> <strong>the</strong> round Registration Memory <strong>button</strong> to call up <strong>the</strong><br />

Registration Memory function.<br />

While<br />

holding <strong>the</strong> [MEMORY] <strong>button</strong>, press one of <strong>the</strong> REGIS-<br />

TRATION MEMORY <strong>button</strong>s: [1] through [4].<br />

• Any data that was previously<br />

recorded in <strong>the</strong> Registration<br />

Memory location you<br />

selected will be erased and<br />

replaced by <strong>the</strong> new settings.<br />

• The Registration Memory<br />

contents will be retained<br />

even after turning <strong>the</strong> power<br />

off. See page 135 for details.<br />

In this example, <strong>the</strong> panel settings are memorized to <strong>button</strong> number 3.<br />

Recalling <strong>the</strong> Registered Panel Settings<br />

through [4].<br />

In this example, <strong>the</strong> panel settings memorized to <strong>button</strong> number 3 are recalled.<br />

The Accompaniment Freeze function<br />

When <strong>the</strong> FREEZE function is engaged, selecting a different Registration Memory<br />

setup will not change any of <strong>the</strong> accompaniment and Voice L parameters (all o<strong>the</strong>r<br />

parameters will change as programmed). This allows you to use <strong>the</strong> auto accompaniment<br />

and select different Registration Memory setups, without suddenly disturbing <strong>the</strong><br />

flow of <strong>the</strong> accompaniment.<br />

press <strong>the</strong> Registration<br />

Memory <strong>button</strong>s, since only<br />

<strong>the</strong> Voice R1 voice is used in<br />

those modes.<br />

• The Freeze function will<br />

automatically be turned on<br />

when one of <strong>the</strong> following<br />

modes, Song, Style Record<br />

or Pad Record is engaged.<br />
