Managing Director, IBM India
Vanitha Narayanan is the
Managing Director of IBM
India Private Limited, and the
Regional General Manager for
India/ South Asia (ISA). Appointed
to this leadership position in January,
2013, she is responsible for all of
IBM’s sales, marketing, services and
global delivery operations in the
India/South Asia region, including
operations in Bangladesh, Nepal and
Sri Lanka. India remains one of the
fastest growing countries for IBM and has emerged as a strategic
location within the company’s global services delivery network.
Having joined IBM in the US in 1987, Vanitha has over 25 years
of experience working with multiple client sets and in several
countries.

She is a known figure in Indian
IT sector and an inspiration
for women working in IT
sector. Neelam was among the
first women to head a technology firm
in India, when she was appointed
India head of the Microsoft— world’s
largest software company—in 2005.
She was appointed head of India
operations Hewlett Packard in 2008.
During the last few years she has been
successful in warding of competition
in India’s computer market.

President, Intel India
She is the first woman president
of the $54 billion computer chip
maker Intel Corp. in India. Ms.
Srinivasan has been with Intel
for over 25 years and has held several
business and information systems
positions within Intel’s Manufacturing
and Information Technology
organizations. In her previous role,
Kumud was Vice-President and General
Manager of IT for Silicon Software and
Services and also led Intel’s internal
full-service consulting practice. She was born and raised in India
and received her bachelor’s degree in economics in 1981 and her
master’s degree in information and library studies in 1984.

Under her leadership, Facebook
India has managed to not only
grow its user base but also
make significant contribution
to its global business. Born in
Hyderabad, Kirthiga completed her
graduation and went on to pursue her
MBA from Stanford University and
MS in computer engineering from
Syracruse University. She worked in
several prestigious companies such as
Motorola and Silicon Graphics. She
was among the first employees of Facebook in India when it
started its operation in India in 2010.

Managing Director, Diageo
Abanti Sankaranarayanan serves
as Managing Director of
DIAGEO India Pvt Ltd – world’s
largest spirits manufacturing
company. Well known for her expertise
in brand marketing, Sankaranarayanan
is responsible for spearheading Diageo
India’s ambitious expansion plans.
Prior to joining Diageo, she was
Executive Director and Deputy CEO at
Mount Everest Mineral Water (a Tata
enterprise), where she was responsible
for crafting the Tata Group’s foray into the bottled water segment.
She served as Marketing Director at DIAGEO India Pvt Ltd. since
July 2010 and as its Deputy Managing Director since January 27,
2012. She also worked in marketing / sales functions of Tata Tea,
Tetley (UK) and Taj Group.
