Most of the delivery assistance interviewed personnel had no knowledge on handling process of obstetric fistula (83%)
amounted to 96 cases, the delivery auxiliar personnel and traditional midwives persisted (81 cases) which represents 70% of
the total delivery assistance personnel at national level. Meanwhile, those who have full knowledge on handling process of
obstetric fistula were 19 effectifs (16%). In this group, doctors, gynecologists, some high level nurses/nurses and midwives are
11 cases (9%).
This situation shows the evidence of the high number of cases of obstetric fistula, even the deliveries are institutionals and
manifests clearly that when somone has no information on something cannot prevent or treate its consequences. The training
