The Central library cooperates with our library, which means that you can also lend books<br />
from their stock with the common library card.<br />

shelves The books are arranged by subjects. The topics<br />
are listed on each side of a shelf. If you want to find a<br />
particular book it’s advisable to use the computers. It’ll<br />
hand you out a number that will direct you to the specific<br />
book. The first letters are the main focus abbreviation<br />
(e.g. PSY for Psychology) and the number identifies<br />
the shelf it’s on.<br />
Latest magazines and newspapers are displayed, back<br />
issues are available too.<br />
computer Some of the Computers are for OPAC searching, some are on free disposal like<br />
the computers in the Cip-Pools.<br />
lending books You definitely need a library card for lending books. You can ask for one<br />
on the counter at the entrance of the library. If the book you asked for isn’t available in the<br />
<strong>Study</strong> guide of student’s union – WS11 41
