leak detector Mixture of nitrogen (95 %) and hydrogen (5%) is used as an indicator gas. This mixture isn’t
flammable (ISO 10156)is not toxic or corrosive, nor dangerous to the environment and much more chipper then
expensive helium.

• Helium leak detector PDH-4
The basis of the detector is so called “Selective Ion Pump Detector” – SIPD. Principe of the work is as
following: helium is heated up to a certain temperature, penetrates special quartz membrane (which is
permeable only for helium atom). Detector senses helium and sends a signal, which force is proportional to the
quantity of helium, having penetrated through the quartz membrane. Signal amplitude represents the size of leak.
