Megger MIT300 Series<br />

The MIT300 Series is designed along Megger’s familiar pr<strong>in</strong>ciple of ascend<strong>in</strong>g<br />

features with no loss of basic quality. Five models comprise the family, each<br />

built on a basic design ensur<strong>in</strong>g the quality and reliability that are Megger’s<br />

trademarks. MIT300 is the simplest model, offer<strong>in</strong>g core functions of highest<br />

quality but no additional features that may prove redundant <strong>in</strong> basic<br />

applications. For applications where a 1 kV test must be avoided, the MIT300<br />

offers a 250 and 500 V test only. Comb<strong>in</strong>ed with cont<strong>in</strong>uity and voltage<br />

warn<strong>in</strong>g, plus all the convenience and safety features that dist<strong>in</strong>guish the<br />

family, this is the model of choice for the simplest applications.<br />

If basic function is still the<br />

goal but a 1 kV test required,<br />

the MIT310 is the perfect<br />

fit. With the possibility of<br />

work<strong>in</strong>g at higher voltages,<br />

safe operation has been<br />

further enhanced by the<br />

<strong>in</strong>clusion of a default<br />

voltmeter.<br />

For those who prefer the<br />

traditional mechanical<br />

Megger MIT Series<br />

analog type of <strong>in</strong>strument,<br />

the MIT310A offers everyth<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> the MIT310, but with a mov<strong>in</strong>g coil display.<br />

The analog display is enhanced by black decals on a white background, to<br />

give high contrast and improved visibility.<br />

The family is completed by the full-featured MIT320 & MIT330. The<br />

former adds a kilohm range for measurements between the extremes of<br />

cont<strong>in</strong>uity and high voltage. With this feature, measurements can be made<br />

cont<strong>in</strong>uously from 0.01 Ω to 999 MΩ. A backlit display is further enhanced<br />

by backlit selections, to make both the setup and results visible <strong>in</strong> poor light.<br />

The MIT320 also offers audible alarms on both the cont<strong>in</strong>uity and megohm<br />

ranges, adjustable across the entire range.<br />

F<strong>in</strong>ally, the MIT330 offers everyth<strong>in</strong>g described <strong>in</strong> the MIT320, plus storage of<br />

up to 1000 results, download<strong>in</strong>g through a USB port via <strong>in</strong>cluded software,<br />

and a display <strong>in</strong>dication of rema<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g memory.<br />
