Coles–Younger Car Park Adjoining Koroit Street and Lava Street, Warrnambool
Discontinuance of Road Abutting 133–141 Lava Street and
Declaration of Certain Internal Roads as Public Highways
Pursuant to section 206 and clause 3 of schedule 10 of the Local Government Act 1989 (‘the
Act’), Warrnambool City Council, at its special meeting held on 25 July 2005, formed the opinion
that the road shown cross-hatched on the plan below (described on Certificates of Title V779 F668,
V839 F610 (part)) and abutting 133–141 Lava Street, Warrnambool, is not reasonably required for
public use. Council has resolved to discontinue the road and sell the land to the adjoining property
owner by private treaty.
Pursuant to section 204 of the Act, Warrnambool City Council, at its ordinary meeting held on
10 December 2007, resolved to declare through a notice in the Government Gazette those roads
shown hatched on the plan below (lands described on Certificates of Title V9461 F494, V922 F227,
V1401 F144, V839 F610 (part)) to be public highways for the purposes of the Act.
