The Amendment: modifies the Schedule to the Heritage Overlay by reintroducing two heritage precincts (HO123 and HO124) in the Schedule to clause 43.01 of the Planning Scheme; and replaces the interim design and built form controls for land at 318–342 Station Street, Chelsea with permanent controls by introducing the Design and Development Overlay – Schedule 8 at clause 43.02 of the Planning Scheme. The Amendment rezones land at 191–199 and 201–207 Albert Street, Brunswick from an Industrial 3 Zone to a Business 2 Zone. The Amendment applies an Environmental Audit Overlay and a Design Development Overlay (Schedule 8) to the entire site. Victoria Government Gazette G 50 13 December 2007 3089 ORDERS IN COUNCIL Education and Training Reform Act 2006 APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS TO THE ADULT, COMMUNITY AND FURTHER EDUCATION BOARD Order in Council The Governor in Council, under sections 3.3.10 and 3.3.11 and clause 2(1) to Schedule 2 of the Education and Training Reform Act 2006, appoints Ms Virginia Fenelon, Mr William Forrest, Mr Adrian Nye, Mr Elias Tsigaras and Ms Merrilyn Woodward as Members of the Adult, Community and Further Education Board from the date of this Order to 30 June 2010. The terms and conditions of the appointments are contained in the attached Schedule. Appointment Arrangements These appointments are part-time. 2. Period of Appointment The period of the appointments is from the date of this Order to 30 June 2010 (inclusive). 3. Duties and Responsibilities of the Position Section 3.3.3(1) of the Act states that the main functions of the Board are to plan and promote adult learning, allocate resources, develop policies and advise the Minister for Skills and Workforce Participation on matters related to adult, community and further education. 4. Termination Arrangements Clause 2(3) to Schedule 2 of the Act stipulates that the office of a member becomes vacant if the member becomes bankrupt, is found guilty of an offence which is, or which would if committed in Victoria be, an indictable offence or is absent from 3 consecutive meetings of the Board without the leave of the Chairperson or in the case of the Chairperson without the Minister’s leave. 5. Payment Provisions Under clause 3(1) to Schedule 2 of the Act the nominees are entitled to receive the remuneration and fees that are fixed in the member’s instrument of appointment or are fixed from time to time by the Governor in Council for that member. The current remuneration for Board members is a sitting fee of $312 per full day or $156 per half day Board commitment. Ms Fenelon will not be remunerated as she is a public sector employee. 6. Superannuation Obligations Superannuation will be paid out in accordance with the Commonwealth Superannuation Guarantee (Administration) Act 1992. 7. Travel and Personal Expenses Arrangements Clause 3(2) to Schedule 2 of the Act states that members are entitled to receive the personal and travelling expenses that are fixed in the member’s instrument of appointment or are fixed from time to time by the Governor in Council.
