The evolving game Some games evolve while you’re playing them. They just evolve. You start out playing them one way, and by the time you’re half-way through you’re playing them a different way, and by the time they’re over, they’ve become something different again – sometimes different enough to be a whole new game. Of course, they evolve because you let them evolve, because you, in fact, encourage the players to try different ways to play them, just for the fun of it – especially when the way they’re playing doesn’t seem as fun as it was a few minutes ago.
