Discover the fundamentals of computer programming<br />
within a visual context during beginner-friendly lessons<br />

designing your own projects as you build new skills,<br />

If you love crazy, messy experiments <strong>and</strong> are curious<br />
about how <strong>and</strong> why things work, this is the <strong>camp</strong> for<br />
you! Each <strong>day</strong> features amazing activities from the<br />
STEM disciplines: science, technology, engineering <strong>and</strong><br />
math. Explore simple machines, structures, electrical<br />
circuits <strong>and</strong> chemistry; snack on edible science experiments;<br />
<strong>and</strong> develop your own innovative creations. Mix<br />
traditional <strong>camp</strong> fun with lots of gooey, slimy, fizzy <strong>and</strong><br />
explosive lab activities.<br />

Technology Goddesses<br />

Camp with a technology twist. Explore cloud computing<br />
<strong>and</strong> take digital pictures <strong>and</strong> videos. Campers enjoy<br />
crafts <strong>and</strong> traditional activities, <strong>and</strong> attend age- <strong>and</strong><br />
skill-appropriate computer sessions that vary from year<br />
to year. Highlights include after-<strong>camp</strong> lab sessions for<br />
DCA/CITs, a sleepover for those in grades 5-12, water<br />
games <strong>and</strong> “Academy Awards.”<br />

Take the lead! Whether you’re planning to be a <strong>day</strong><br />
<strong>camp</strong> teen mentor, work on one of <strong>Girl</strong> <strong>Scouts</strong>’ highest<br />
awards or serve on your school’s ASB, you can stretch<br />
<strong>and</strong> strengthen your talents at this <strong>camp</strong>. Separate<br />
age-level groups will allow you to focus on shared<br />
goals <strong>and</strong> make plans to achieve them. Sharpen your<br />
teamwork skills on our Adventure Zone, gain “on-thejob”<br />
training by leading activities with girls in Wild Things<br />
<strong>camp</strong> (see page 13) <strong>and</strong> benefit from professional<br />
leadership training workshops.<br />

Join the twilight fun at beautiful Lake Poway! Choose the<br />
theme <strong>and</strong> activities with your group from a wide variety<br />
of exciting possibilities. Decide on badges or journey<br />
options you’d like to work on, <strong>and</strong> use your leadership<br />
skills to make it happen. Older girls can try paddle<br />
boating <strong>and</strong> archery, <strong>and</strong> everyone can hike, fish, sing<br />
<strong>camp</strong> songs, play water games <strong>and</strong> make tons of cool<br />
