Girl Scouts San Diego serves nearly 31,000 girls and more
than 10,000 adults in San Diego and Imperial counties. Girl
Scouts, a voluntary, private organization, is open to all girls
between the ages of 5 and 17 who make the Girl Scout
Promise, accept the Girl Scout Law, and pay annual membership
dues of $12. Girl Scouting encourages each girl to reach
her full potential by helping her develop self-esteem, make
new friends, and become a vital part of the community.
Girl Scouts San Diego Camps are accredited by the American
Camp Association. This means all our camps maintain high
safety and quality standards in site, program, transportation,
administration, personnel and health care.
ALL GIRLS WELCOME!
All girls ages 5 through 17 are welcome at Girl Scout camp. No camping
experience is needed for most camps, and a camper does not need to attend
with her friends or a troop—she’ll make new friends there! Non-Girl Scouts are
encouraged to attend; an additional $12 covers the annual Girl Scout
registration fee and insurance.
