Adventure Chasers
Grades 4-8; DCA/CITs: Grades 10-12
Set a course for adventure with our climbing tower,
swimming, archery and water sports! Make and achieve
goals with your camp team at our Adventure Zone. Try
kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding, and get down and
dirty in a lighthearted mud run. Capture your escapades
with an expedition camera for a cool video keepsake.
High adventure instruction is provided by certified
professionals at an introductory level which progresses
with the group.

Aquatic Adventures
Grades 4-8; DCA/CITs: Grades 10-12
Cool off in and on the water every day! Paddle beautiful,
protected Crown Cove on a stand-up paddleboard,
kayak or canoe. Make a splash with swimming and beach
water polo. Girls in grades 6-8 may choose sailing as
well. End the week with a fun luau. Plenty of games,
songs and crafts make this a week to remember!

Art Attack!
Grades K-5; DCA/CITs: Grades 7-12
Express yourself with an explosion of exciting art!
Experiment with two- and three-dimensional art, dance,
instrumental and vocal exploration and theater arts.
Do Artist Legacy badge activities for your age group.
Workshops with guest artists and museum visits
(different every year) will help you take artistry to a new
level. Enjoy swimming, songs and games, too. Share
your creations at a family gallery showing on Friday.

Art Attack!
Grades K-5; DCA/CITs: Grades 7-12
Engage your inner artist at this creative camp. You’ll try
a wide assortment of media, from sketching and sculpture
to dance and drama. Take a trip to the California
Center for the Arts for a special tour and workshop just
for you and your fellow campers. Make wearable art
while you work on badge activities for your age level.
Songs and games round out the fun. This popular camp
features new activities every year. Families are invited to
an art show on Friday.
Bejeweled NEW
Grades 4-8; DCA/CITs: Grades 10-12
Develop your own jewelry style and express it with
unique, quality pieces at this new camp. Take lessons
from experts in wire wrapping, beading, polymer clay
and other creative techniques. You’ll go home with
bracelets, necklaces, earrings and rings to wear
yourself, give as gifts or use to start your own small business.
You will be amazed at what you can make!

Cool Skates
Grades 2-7; DCA/CITs: Grades 8-12
Spin, glide, wiggle and swizzle! Each morning, take a bus
from the Balboa Campus to the San Diego Ice Skating
Rink for a half-hour lesson and two hours of free skating
time. In the afternoon, return to camp for more
activities, crafts and fun with friends.
