Certified Nurse Practitioner
Responsibilities include completing medical history and physical exams on
patients, initiating orders for medications, performing clinical procedures, initiating
evaluation in emergency situations, providing counseling and instruction
regarding common patient problems, and working as part of a multidisciplinary
treatment team. Requires certification by the State of PA as a CRNP
and the American Nurses Credentialing Center, three yrs exp. as a CRNP. Prior
experience working in the chemical dependency field is preferred.
