For the past 50! years my love and wife Francoise
and I have done everything TOGETHER, including
our campaigns for senator and governor, and WE
will put ALL of our substantial combined skills,
talents, knowledge, abilities, and experience to the
maximum service and benefit of our fellow Alaskans.
STATEMENT:
I am NOT a politician! I DON’T take any money from
anyone for anything! If you elect me; YOU, America,
Alaska, and wildlife wins – not me! I am only running
for 1 term to open ANWR, worth two trillion dollars, in
the best way for America, Alaska, and wildlife. I really
CAN open ANWR with my N.E.W.-ANWR legislation
that Francoise and I personify as we did the National
Fish and Wildlife Foundation Act.
We got that Act through a divided Congress in a few
months to unanimous passage with 60 cosponsors
including 22 chairmen and the leadership of both
parties. Indeed, we are the only couple in U.S. history
to do that. Don Young has never done anything like
that in the 40 years he has been in Congress – BUT
WE DID!
We have known Don for 30 of the 40 years that he
has been in Congress. All Don has done on ANWR
- that is by far the most important element in Alaska’s
future prosperity – is lie through his teeth, fail 12 times
in 40 years to open it, blame everyone else except
himself for his failure, and rake in millions of dollars in
campaign contributions.
