STATEMENT:<br />
I’m running for <strong>of</strong>fice because the great state <strong>of</strong> <strong>Alaska</strong><br />
has been good to my family – from our first days in<br />
1964 to the present, and now it’s time to give back.<br />
My platform is “building our future through economic<br />
growth,” and three areas come to the forefront:<br />
1. Energy: from short-term relief to responsible,<br />
long-term solutions;<br />
2. Infrastructure: cyber as well as brick and mortar<br />
development; and<br />
3. People: our most valuable resource requires<br />
the education, training and support to grow<br />
our state.<br />
