STATEMENT:
I’m a lifelong Alaskan and committed to seeing this state
prosper and grow for future generations.
I am a non-partisan candidate because I want to go to
Juneau with an Alaska agenda not a party agenda. I have
seen how well the nonpartisan caucus in the Senate has
worked and would like to see the same in the House of
Representatives. Less politics more action!
I have spent eight years working for a State Senator in
Juneau and Fairbanks. Prior to that I lived in Stevens
Village for seven years where I worked in the early child
development field both developing and facilitating healthy
family and community programs and workshops.
My passions are workforce development (“Putting
Alaskans to Work”), energy solutions, education, health,
safety and wellness, protecting our food source (fish and
game), transportation and helping each community to be
empowered and sustainable.
I am the most qualified candidate for this diverse district
because of my experience in the legislature and my
experience living in remote villages and large cities. I am
as unique and diverse as this new district! I understand
statewide issues and needs, and I am equipped and
ready to work for you. I am solution oriented and I will
dedicate myself to you and your communities’ needs!
