STATEMENT:<br />
Since graduation from law school I have committed<br />
myself to a career <strong>of</strong> public service. I continue to<br />
enjoy the challenges <strong>of</strong> serving on the bench, and I<br />
am thankful for the opportunity I have had to serve the<br />
people <strong>of</strong> <strong>Alaska</strong> in my capacity as a judge.<br />
Throughout my service as a superior and district court<br />
judge I have volunteered to handle court dockets in a<br />
number <strong>of</strong> <strong>Alaska</strong> communities. I have also served<br />
by pro-tem appointment on the court <strong>of</strong> appeals, and<br />
I have served on various justice system committees.<br />
