Hebron Field<br />

• Hebron is the largest stand alone new field development <strong>in</strong><br />

Canada<br />

• The Hebron compartmentalized field, consists of the Hebron,<br />

Ben Nevis and West Ben Nevis oil accumulations located <strong>in</strong><br />

several <strong>in</strong>dependent fault blocks<br />

• ExxonMobil is operator with a 36% <strong>in</strong>terest, Chevron Canada<br />

has 26.7 %, Suncor 22.7%, StatoilHydro Canada 9.7%<br />

• The rema<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g 4.9% is held by Nalcor Energy. The<br />

government paid C$ 110 million <strong>for</strong> its stake <strong>in</strong> the field<br />

• Oil and gas are conta<strong>in</strong>ed <strong>in</strong> Ben Nevis, Hibernia and <strong>Jeanne</strong><br />

d’Arc reservoirs<br />

• Hebron field faces challenges associated with the recovery of<br />

heavier oil (~20(<br />
