W-E E Seismic E 3D L<strong>in</strong>e<br />

• This is a E 3D seismic L<strong>in</strong>e start<strong>in</strong>g over the Deep Bas<strong>in</strong>, with<strong>in</strong> unlicensed land<br />

just north of the North Ben Nevis Oil field<br />

• The l<strong>in</strong>e crosses over <strong>in</strong>to Parcel 1, <strong>in</strong>tersect<strong>in</strong>g a series of rotated fault blocks<br />

bounded by down-to<br />

to-bas<strong>in</strong> normal faults on the northwesterly plunge of the<br />

Amethyst Ridge<br />

• The l<strong>in</strong>e then <strong>in</strong>tersects the North Amethyst field located directly on the crestal<br />

zone of the Amethyst Ridge. North Amethyst K-15 K<br />

well has a 51 m oil column<br />

and 69 m gas column<br />

• The section then crosses <strong>in</strong>to the southernmost part of the White Rose South Pool<br />

<strong>in</strong>tersect<strong>in</strong>g the F-04 F<br />

well location. Both White Rose F-04 F<br />

and F-04Z F<br />

encountered<br />

oil and gas <strong>in</strong> Ben Nevis sandstone extend<strong>in</strong>g the South White Rose e pool<br />

• To the east, l<strong>in</strong>e term<strong>in</strong>ates <strong>in</strong>to Crown land<br />

• With<strong>in</strong> this section, the Egret Source Rock is present as are the traditional<br />

reservoirs of the JDB; the <strong>Jeanne</strong> d’Arc, d<br />

Hibernia and Avalon-Ben Nevis<br />

sandstones that may be trapped <strong>in</strong> one-way, two-ways ways and three ways fault<br />

closures; some <strong>in</strong>dependent closure may also exists<br />

• Stratigraphic trapp<strong>in</strong>g of Paleocene sandstones deposited as channel nel or bas<strong>in</strong> floor<br />

fans may also be present<br />
