1. OPERATIONAL OVERVIEW The [Browse for folder] dialogue box will appear. New Folder OK Cancel [Browse for Folder] dialogue box (Windows XP). Appearance will vary depending on computer and OS. 5. 2. SYSTEM INITIALIZATION This chapter provides the information necessary for initializing the FELCOM 15. Once the equipment is initialized, you need do no more than press a few keys to get fully automatic transmission and reception. Inmarsat assigns an MES an Inmarsat Mobile Number (IMN) when it applies for Inmarsat registration. The IMN is necessary to communicate in the Inmarsat system. It is entered into the FELCOM 15 during the installation. 2.1 System Settings 2.1.1 Confirming the main terminal The main terminal is where you set up the system. (You cannot set up the system from an external terminal.) Confirm that the main terminal is selected as below. 1. Press the [F8] key to choose the Setup menu.
