The operating income and expenses are broken down as follows:

As explained under page 68 of note 3, the presentation
of the other operating income and expenses has been
modified in order to increase the readability and
presentation of the income statement.
The main variations compared to 2009 come from:
■ the (negative) variation of exchange differences;
■ the increase of impairment of current assets
mostly due to the bankruptcy of Austrian Energy
(EUR 0,9 million).
Other miscellaneous operating income and expenses
mainly include, on one hand, insurance products and
sub-letting of installations and on the other hand,
banking charges and fees not directly attributable to
construction contracts.
