3-7/8" BORE REPLACEMENT CYLINDERS AND PISTONS<br />

These 3 7/8" bore cylinders are a good choice for installation and repair of 95" and 103" kits. Superior<br />

materials, thicker casting in critical areas and bigger cooling fins, combined with excellent wear resistance<br />

ensure excellent engine life.<br />

• For 95" and 106" ‘cylinder only’ kits, pistons must be measured and cylinders bored/honed accordingly. Recommended piston fitment:<br />

• Close: 0.0020" – 0.0025" Loose: 0.0032" – 0.0045"<br />

• S&S 3 7/8" pistons for 103" kits are machined to such close tolerances that it is not necessary to measure the piston. Additionally, the low friction coating on the piston skirt makes taking<br />

measurements very difficult. Therefore, hone cylinders to nominal diameter +/- 0.0005" for correct clearance.<br />
