Venango Campus<br />
198 <strong>Clarion</strong> <strong>University</strong> of Pennsylvania<br />
known performers, informal dances, service projects, ski<br />
and canoe trips, coffeehouses, and much more. Students<br />
play an integral part in planning campus events and projects.<br />
A variety of leadership workshops, which provide students<br />
the opportunity to enhance skills or learn new ones, are<br />
offered throughout the year. Many events are familyoriented,<br />
and students and families are encouraged to<br />
participate. Most activities are free to students as they are<br />
covered by student activity fees.<br />
Suhr Library<br />
The Charles L. Suhr Library provides library resources,<br />
study facilities, and computers for Venango Campus<br />
students. The library contains 40,000 volumes and<br />
subscribes to 177 periodicals. A computerized book catalog<br />
makes books from Suhr and Carlson libraries readily<br />
accessible to students on the Venango Campus. The<br />
periodical collection is supplemented by thousands of<br />
periodicals that the library makes available online. All<br />
library services, described under Libraries, are available to<br />
Venango Campus students. More information on Suhr<br />

Venango Parking and Automobile<br />
Regulations<br />
Parking regulations described in the Parking and<br />
Automobile Regulations section of this catalog apply to<br />
Venango Campus. Applications for parking permits are<br />
available in the Administrative Office and may be used at<br />
Venango Campus and in designated commuter parking lots<br />
at <strong>Clarion</strong> Campus. Students at Venango Campus also may<br />
park only in designated student parking areas.<br />
The Writing Center<br />
The Writing Center is a laboratory that provides<br />
computers, word processing software, and writing tutors<br />
to help students with writing assignments.<br />

To complete an associate’s degree, a minimum of 30<br />
credit hours must be completed on the Venango Campus.<br />
For Business Administration (A.S.) and Legal Business<br />
Studies (A.S.) students, these 30 credits must include the<br />
12 credits required in the concentration and a minimum of<br />
12 credits from the courses listed under the Business Core.<br />
The transfer of a specific associate’s degree to a specific<br />
baccalaureate program may incur deficiencies within the<br />
major.<br />
Associate of Arts: Arts and<br />
Sciences<br />
The Associate of Arts is a liberal arts degree program<br />
designed to provide the student with a range of experiences<br />
and a flexible educational program. To complete an<br />
associate’s degree, a minimum of 30 credit hours must be<br />
completed on the Venango Campus.<br />
