Radial Ball <strong>Bearing</strong>s with Self-Aligning Ring<br />
Replaces Fafnir 300S <strong>Series</strong><br />
The Ketchie-<strong>Houston</strong> 300S consists of a single row radial type ball<br />
bearing on which a separate, self-aligning ring is fitted to the spherical<br />
outside diameter of the outer ring. This construction allows the inner<br />
assembly to swivel in the aligning ring to accurately align itself with the<br />
shaft assembly. These inserts can be applied either as fixed or floating<br />
assemblies. Because each self-aligning ring is closely matched to its<br />
respective bearing, the S ring of one bearing may not fit the outer ring<br />
of another.<br />
The 300S series is similar to the 200S series except the external selfaligning<br />
ring is fitted to the 300S ball bearing, which permits greater<br />
load capacity.<br />
