NETWORKING GROUPS
US TOO PROSTATE
CANCER SUPPORT GROUP
Third Tuesday of every month
10:30 –11:30 am
LivingWell is proud to partner with Provena Saint
Joseph Hospital, Provena Mercy Medical Center,
and Oncology Chaplain, Pastor Don Shank, to
bring Us TOO to our center. Group meetings
provide unbiased information from experts in areas
related to prostate cancer including treatment
options, pain control, nutrition, mental health,
coping strategies and more. Drop in! No preregistration
is required.
WOMEN’S SHARE CIRCLE
Second Monday of every month
1:00 –2:30 pm
Cancer can be an isolating and exhausting
illness. This group invites women who are either
the patient or the caregiver to come together to
meet other women, share their stories, and feel
empowered. This group goes beyond the cancer
diagnosis to examine group members’ habits,
histories, and goals in a supportive environment.
Group members are strongly encouraged to attend
the Life Skills Series presented by Leslie Karen
Sann in addition to this group. First time attendees
require pre-registration.
Networking groups are cancer specific groups that
provide an opportunity to share information with
other survivors and family members. Groups are
facilitated by licensed professionals unless otherwise
indicated.
BREAST CANCER NETWORKING GROUP
Meets the third Monday of the month from 7:00-
8:30 pm at LivingWell (January 21, February 18 and
March 18) and the first Monday of every month from
7-8:30 pm at Central DuPage Hospital (January 7,
February 4 and March 4).
BRAIN TUMOR RESOURCE
AND SUPPORT GROUP*
Meets the first and third Wednesday of the month
from 7:30-9:00 pm (January 2 and 16, February 6 and
20, March 6 and 20).
*Caregivers welcome
GYNECOLOGICAL CANCER
NETWORKING GROUP
Open to individuals with Ovarian, Cervical, Uterine,
and other Gynecological cancers. Meets on the first
Monday of the month from 7:00-8:30 pm (January 7,
February 4 and March 4).
LEUKEMIA, LYMPHOMA, AND MULTIPLE
MYELOMA NETWORKING GROUP*
Open to individuals with Leukemia, Lymphoma, or
Multiple Myeloma. Meets on the third Monday of the
month from 7:00-8:30pm (January 21, February 18
and March 18).
*Caregivers welcome
MASTECTOMY NETWORKING GROUP*
Open to women who have had a mastectomy. Group
discussion will focus on the emotional, physical, and
psychological impact of a mastectomy. Meets the
second and fourth Wednesday of the month from 7:30-
9:00 pm. (January 9 and 23, February 13 and 27 and
March 13) No meeting on March 27.
*This group is facilitated by a breast cancer survivor who
also had a mastectomy, Noel Storm. Noel is available
for individual support sessions via phone or in person.
