For 37 years, the Journal <strong>of</strong> Scholarly <strong>Publishing</strong> has<br />
been the authoritative voice <strong>of</strong> academic publishing.<br />
The journal combines philosophical analysis<br />
with practical advice and aspires to explain, argue,<br />
discuss and question the large collection <strong>of</strong> new<br />
topics that continuously arise in the publishing<br />
field. The journal has also examined the future <strong>of</strong><br />
scholarly publishing, scholarship on the web, digitalization,<br />
copyrights, editorial policies, computer<br />
applications, marketing and pricing models. It is<br />
the indispensable resource for academics and publishers<br />
that addresses the new challenges resulting<br />
from changes in technology and funding and the<br />
innovations in production and publishing.<br />
The Canadian Journal <strong>of</strong><br />
Sociology<br />
The Canadian Journal <strong>of</strong> Sociology publishes rigorously<br />
peer-reviewed research articles and innovative theoretical<br />
essays by social scientists from around the world,<br />
providing insight into the issues facing Canadian society<br />
as well as social and cultural systems in other countries.<br />
The journal also features a lively debate/commentary<br />
section encouraging the intensive exchange <strong>of</strong> ideas,<br />
along with regular sections such as ‘Notes on Society’<br />
that address topical issues <strong>of</strong> the day from a social<br />
science point <strong>of</strong> view and ‘Notes on the Discipline’<br />
designed to discuss a variety <strong>of</strong> issues encountered in the<br />
course <strong>of</strong> the sociological analysis <strong>of</strong> modern society. In<br />
addition each issue <strong>of</strong> the Canadian Journal <strong>of</strong> Sociology<br />
has a comprehensive book review section.<br />

Comparative and<br />
General Literature<br />
The Yearbook <strong>of</strong> Comparative and General Literature<br />
is dedicated to the publication <strong>of</strong> theoretically<br />
informed research in literary studies with a comparative,<br />
intercultural, or interdisciplinary emphasis.<br />
We invite articles on the comparative study <strong>of</strong> the<br />
arts, film studies with a focus on literature, international<br />
literary relations, pedagogy, and the theory<br />
and practice <strong>of</strong> translation, as well as on the study<br />
<strong>of</strong> genres and modes, themes and motifs, periods<br />
and movements.<br />
Canadian Theatre Review<br />
Canadian Theatre Review is the major magazine<br />
<strong>of</strong> record for Canadian theatre. It is committed to<br />
excellence in the critical analysis and innovative<br />
coverage <strong>of</strong> current developments in Canadian<br />
theatre, to advocating new issues and artists, and<br />
to publishing at least one significant new playscript<br />
per issue. The editorial board is committed to<br />
CTR’s practice <strong>of</strong> theme issues that present multifaceted<br />
and in-depth examinations <strong>of</strong> the emerging<br />
issues <strong>of</strong> the day and to expanding the practice <strong>of</strong><br />
criticism in Canadian theatre and to the development<br />
<strong>of</strong> new voices. This includes an ongoing and<br />
active search for writers from historically marginalized<br />
and silenced communities<br />
