Board of Directors<br />

Mr CHEW Fook Aun<br />

Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer<br />

Mr Chew, aged 45, has been Executive Director and Chief<br />

Financial Officer of the Manager since February <strong>2007</strong>. He is<br />

a member of the Disclosures Committee and the Finance<br />

& Investment Committee of the Manager. Mr Chew is also<br />

a Director of <strong>The</strong> <strong>Link</strong> Holdings Limited, <strong>The</strong> <strong>Link</strong> Properties<br />

Limited and <strong>The</strong> <strong>Link</strong> Finance Limited, being the principal<br />

subsidiaries of <strong>The</strong> <strong>Link</strong> <strong>REIT</strong>.<br />

Mr Chew is a graduate of the London School of Economics<br />

and Political Science of the University of London in the<br />

United Kingdom and holds a Bachelor of Science (Economics)<br />

degree from the University of London. He is a Fellow of the<br />

Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA)<br />

and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in<br />

England and Wales. Mr Chew has substantial experience in<br />

the accounting, auditing and finance fields in the United<br />

Kingdom and in Hong Kong. He trained and qualified as a<br />

Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Whinney in London and<br />

was formerly with Ernst & Young in Hong Kong. He was the<br />

Chief Financial Officer of Kerry Properties Limited from 1996<br />

to 2004, a Director of Corporate Finance for Kerry Holdings<br />

Limited from 1998 to 2004 and the Executive Director<br />

responsible for the property portfolio for Kyard Limited from<br />

2004 to <strong>2007</strong>.<br />

Mr Chew is a Council member of the HKICPA and the<br />

Chairman of its Corporate Governance Committee and<br />

a Technical Advisor to the Chairman of the Professional<br />

Accountants in Business Committee of the International<br />

Federation of Accountants (IFAC). He is also a Member<br />

of the Advisory Committee of the Securities and Futures<br />

Commission (the “SFC”) and the Citizens Advisory Committee<br />

on Community Relations of the Independent Commission<br />

Against Corruption (ICAC).<br />

Mr John HO Chi On<br />

Non-Executive Director<br />

Mr Ho, aged 30, has been a Non-Executive Director of the<br />

Manager since July 2006. He is a member of the Finance<br />

& Investment Committee and the Human Resources &<br />

Compensation Committee of the Manager. Mr Ho has broad<br />

investment and business management experience in real<br />

estate and property industries globally. He is currently a<br />

Director of <strong>The</strong> Children’s Investment Fund Management<br />

(Asia) Limited. He heads up <strong>The</strong> Children’s Investment Fund<br />

Management (UK) LLP’s (“TCI”) office in Hong Kong and is<br />

responsible for TCI’s Asia-Pacific investment activities. Mr Ho<br />

is also a Non-Executive Director of Chinese Future Limited,<br />

which undertakes infrastructure investments in China. TCI is<br />

a substantial unitholder of <strong>The</strong> <strong>Link</strong> <strong>REIT</strong> within the meaning<br />

of Part XV of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Chapter<br />

571 of the Laws of Hong Kong) (the “SFO”).<br />

Mr LIEW Mun Leong<br />

Non-Executive Director<br />

Mr Liew, aged 60, joined the Board in September 2004. He<br />

is a member of the Finance & Investment Committee and<br />

the Human Resources & Compensation Committee of the<br />

Manager. Mr Liew has more than 30 years of international<br />

experience in the construction and real estate industries<br />

in Singapore and overseas. He is President and Chief<br />

Executive Officer of CapitaLand Group. He is also Deputy<br />

Chairman of <strong>The</strong> Ascott Group Limited (a company listed<br />

on the Singapore Exchange), CapitaMall Trust Management<br />

Limited (manager of CapitaMall Trust, the first listed <strong>REIT</strong><br />

in Singapore), CapitaRetail China Trust Management<br />

Limited (manager of CapitaRetail China Trust, a listed<br />

<strong>REIT</strong> in Singapore), CapitaCommercial Trust Management<br />

Limited and Ascott Residence Trust Management Limited. In<br />

addition, Mr Liew is Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority<br />

of Singapore.
