CCM ONLY Mode<br />

When CCM ONLY mode is selected, the PCM is used only for CCM operation on one or<br />

both ports. When this mode is selected in Logicmaster <strong>90</strong> software, the following PCM<br />

detail screen is displayed.<br />

Description<br />

Specify whether a battery is required. Choices are YES* or NO.<br />

CCM Enable Specify whether the port is to be configured for use as a CCM port.<br />

Choices are YES* or NO.<br />

CCM Mode This parameter displays the availability of ports for CCM access.<br />

Choices are SLAVE*, PEER, or MASTER.<br />

<strong>In</strong>terface The interface parameter for port 1 of a Series <strong>90</strong>-<strong>30</strong> PCM is RS-232; port 2<br />

of the 192K and 640K Series <strong>90</strong>-<strong>30</strong> modules may have an interface value<br />

of either RS-232* or RS-485. The interface parameter is not used or<br />

displayed for the 160K module, <strong>IC693PCM<strong>30</strong>0</strong>. RS-232* and RS-485<br />

are valid for both ports of the Series <strong>90</strong>-<strong>70</strong> PCM.<br />

Retry counts for CCM mode. Choices are NORMAL* or SHORT.<br />

Length of timeouts used for CCM on the port.<br />

Choices are LONG*, MEDIUM, SHORT, or NONE.<br />

Turnaround delay time to be used for CCM on the port.<br />

Choices are NONE*, 10 ms, 100 ms, or 500 ms.<br />

Address of the port on a multi-drop network. This value is used to<br />

calculate the backoff delay upon an inquiry collision in peer mode. The<br />

range of values allowed in this field is 1* to 254. A different value<br />

must be selected for each CCM device on the network.<br />
