The Court of Justice
Composition, jurisdiction and
procedures
The Court of Justice of the European Union is
the judicial institution of the European Union.
It comprises three courts: the Court of Justice,
the General Court and the Civil Service Tribunal.
Its primary task is to review the legality of acts of
the European Union’s institutions and to ensure
the uniform interpretation and application of
European Union law.
