In summary, we demonstrate the efficient inclusion of large guest molecules in the large channel of 2 via single-crystal-to-single-crystal guest exchange. Our findings demonstrate that interaction strongly controls the inclusion geometry of the guest molecules. Such inter-molecular interactions as characterized by X-ray analysis will be helpful for design of not only simple inclusion phenomena but also new physical properties & chemical reactions within the coordination network.
