LCrR12.2 Motions for Playback <strong>of</strong> Electronic Sound Recordings.<br />

Upon approval by the Court <strong>of</strong> a written motion showing good cause, any party may be<br />

permitted to listen to a playback <strong>of</strong> any proceeding conducted before a magistrate judge on the<br />

Court’s recording system. The movant may also obtain a transcript, provided satisfactory<br />

arrangements are made with a certified shorthand reporter in accordance with 28 U.S.C.<br />

§ 753(f) and a certified copy <strong>of</strong> the transcript is then filed.<br />

LCrR12.3 Motions to Seal.<br />

Any party requesting that any pleading, document, or other matter be filed under seal<br />

(such as ex parte or in camera motions, including in camera motions for downward departure<br />

<strong>of</strong> a sentence, if desired) shall file an application and proposed order with the assigned judge.<br />

A clearly identified envelope for sealing the matter shall be furnished at the time <strong>of</strong> filing the<br />

request.<br />

LCrR12.4 Motions in Limine.<br />

Any motion in limine shall be filed and served at least five (5) business days prior to<br />

the commencement <strong>of</strong> the scheduled trial docket. Any objections shall be filed two (2)<br />

business days prior to trial.<br />

LCrR12.4.1 Notices <strong>of</strong> Defenses.<br />

Notice <strong>of</strong> any <strong>of</strong> the defenses stated in Fed. R. Crim. P. 12.1, 12.2 or 12.3, shall be<br />

provided at the discovery conference or within fifteen (15) days from the date a plea <strong>of</strong> not<br />

guilty is entered.<br />

LCrR16.1 Discovery Conference.<br />

(a) Time for Discovery Conference. Counsel for the parties shall meet and confer<br />

at a discovery conference within ten (10) days after a plea <strong>of</strong> not guilty is entered.<br />
