DIRECTORY OF SERVICES INTRODUCTION This general directory lists various legal services and organizations which may be of assistance to persons with disabilities. It is by no means a complete directory of services. We have included agencies and organizations which are referred to in the text of this handbook, as well as some legal services organizations which provide primary assistance to persons with disabilities. Many organizations listed below can refer you to other groups which may be able to help you. Many of the government agencies mentioned in this book and directory have local branch offices. The phone numbers for these offices can be found in the government listings at the beginning of your phone directory, and we have therefore not included all of them here.
