Primary objective <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>in</strong>stitute is to develop <strong>the</strong> technology related to<br />
Automotive and o<strong>the</strong>r technical trades and to provide tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g to students to<br />
be appropriately equipped to perform at <strong>the</strong> highest level <strong>of</strong> acceptance and<br />
<strong>the</strong>re by ma<strong>in</strong>ta<strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> standard as <strong>the</strong> centre <strong>of</strong> excellence for tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
automotive sector:<br />
Incorporate <strong>the</strong> CGTTI as a separate Institute by an ACT <strong>of</strong> Parliament.<br />
Update Curriculum Development and <strong>in</strong>crease <strong>the</strong> tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g capacity at<br />
CGTTI complex.<br />
The CGTTI whilst ma<strong>in</strong>ta<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g its present status would aspire to achieve<br />
Diploma Level <strong>in</strong> Technical Education for <strong>the</strong> CGTTI tra<strong>in</strong>ees which<br />
would qualify <strong>the</strong>m to obta<strong>in</strong> a Degree <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir pr<strong>of</strong>essional career.<br />
Develop CGTTI <strong>in</strong>come generat<strong>in</strong>g status through Production oriented<br />
tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g and Part -Time Tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g Courses.<br />
Develop modern Technology Tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g Centre (MTTC) at <strong>the</strong> CGTTI to<br />
meet future <strong>in</strong>dustry requirements.<br />
