Preparing Your <strong>Installation</strong> Site<br />
WARNING!<br />
When constructing your mast in exposed areas outdoors, ensure it has a solid<br />
ground connection. A 6AWG insulated, stranded ground wire, no longer than 25’ in<br />
length is recommended.<br />
NOTE…<br />
Contact your local fSONA representative for assistance in deploying suitable<br />
mounting masts. Refer to specific application notes for tower installations and more<br />
information on rooftop installations. These application notes are available from<br />
your fSONA representative.<br />
Pedestal Mount<br />
fSONA also offers an optional Pedestal Mount for<br />
E-<strong>Series</strong> terminals designed for mounting the<br />
optical head approximately 600mm (2ft) above<br />
any relatively level, hard, flat and stable surface.<br />
With suitable anchors for the base surface, the bolton<br />
Pedestal Mount offers economical rapid<br />
deployment of a versatile terminal platform.<br />
