Second Undergraduate Degree<br />

Provision exists for a university graduate to take a second bachelor's<br />

degree. This programme is normally shortened (except for <strong>the</strong> B.H.Sc.­<br />

Second Degree Programme). An application for admission is necessary<br />

for entry to a second degree programme, and it should be submitted by<br />

<strong>the</strong> application deadlines. (See Application Procedures and Academic<br />

Regulations, Second Bachelor's Degree Programmme.)<br />

Combined Programmes<br />

There is <strong>the</strong> opportunity to combine two subjects <strong>of</strong> study within one<br />

Faculty, or between two Faculties. Fur<strong>the</strong>r information can be obtained<br />

by referring to <strong>the</strong> Faculty Sections <strong>of</strong> this Calendar, or contacting <strong>the</strong><br />

appropriate Associate Qean (Studies).<br />

Courses Instructed in French<br />

In order to facilitate <strong>the</strong> intellectual development <strong>of</strong> students in <strong>the</strong><br />

French language, <strong>the</strong> <strong>University</strong> will attempt to <strong>of</strong>fer one or two courses<br />

annually where French is <strong>the</strong> language <strong>of</strong> instruction. These courses are<br />

open to all students proViding <strong>the</strong>y have <strong>the</strong> necessary prerequisite, and<br />

a suitable working knowledge in <strong>the</strong> French language.<br />

ELECTIVE COURSES AVAILABLE TO LEVEL I STUDENTS<br />

provided that <strong>the</strong> students have met any prerequisites, and subject to<br />
