LESSON 3
Knowing how to count by fives will help you
tell time. If you already know how to tell time,
turn to page 42. Here you will find the exercise
for Lesson 3. Make sure you can do all of these
problems. If so, move on to Lesson 4. If you do
not know how to tell time, follow me and I will
show you how.

Look around your home or workplace and
find a clock that has numbers on it like the one
in Figure 1. You may find more than one kind
of clock. The kind with lighted numbers as in
Figure 2 is called a digital clock.
