HD CompactLine now with oscillation
HD CompactLine series boasts no fewer than four completely
new tandem rollers. And the best thing about them is that they
are all oscillation rollers. For the first time, this stress-free, efficient
compaction technology is also available for the compact
machines. The four models weighing between 2.6 and 4.4 tons
have working widths ranging from 1 to 1.4 metres.
Oscillation yields several advantages. The rapid increase
in compaction is the most important. Application areas include
inner cities, for example, where compact rollers with oscillation
compact the ground dynamically without damaging buildings or
piping as a result of vibrations. High-speed compaction is also
advantageous when compacting thin asphalt layers applied hoton-hot
on a spray seal (DSH-V) and other thin asphalt layers. Along
seams, oscillation optimizes the compaction in relation to existing
pavements, for instance when repairing very small areas, as this
technology does not damage the cold asphalt. Numerous applications
also arise in the garden and landscaping sector, when compacting
pathways and open areas. Illumination of the drum, a cab
and grit spreader for the larger models are just a few of the many
noteworthy new options for the HD CompactLine series.
