Air-Cooled : DS/DSV/RS Condensers
A DRY-O-TRON® dehumidifier is, by design, an excellent
heat recovery device. However, there are times (seasonal)
when this recovered energy exceeds the pool and space
heating demand and must be rejected elsewhere.
A popular method of rejecting unwanted heat is to use
air-cooled condensers, referred to as Dectron Inc.’s aircooled
air conditioning option. The DRY-O-TRON® is
equipped with all the necessary hardware (receiver, headpressure
control valves, etc.) and programming, ready to be
field connected to the outdoor condenser.
On rooftop DRY-O-TRON® units, the outdoor condenser
can be factory packaged, mounted and tested for optimum
performance.

Selections with two model numbers (i.e. CLD056/057) indicate different footprints available.
Condensers for use with DRY-O-TRON® are equipped with 24V transformer, contactors and ambient fan cycling.
Line size to outdoor condenser must match the DRY-O-TRON® connection sizes. Do not use condenser connection size for line size.
STD,”CID” Condensers are high CFM models with 1-1/2 hp, 1140 rpm motors.
Optional,”CLD” Condensers are low CFM models with 1 hp, 825 rpm motors.
