Water-Cooled Data
Rejecting excess recovered heat can be done by adding
another water-cooled condenser to the DRY-O-TRON® ;
referred to as Dectron Inc.’s water-cooled air conditioning
option. This condenser can be piped to a cooling tower,
chilled water loop or heat pump loop…wherever cooling
water is available. The DRY-O-TRON® is equipped with all
the necessary hardware (condenser, receiver, head-pressure
control valves, etc.) and programming. There are no water
regulating valves used in these constant water flow applications.
The advantage of the water-cooled option is that it is a
packaged solution (no field refrigerant piping) with the
lowest system charge.

The above GPM are based on 90°F EWT (except dry cooler, which is based on 110°F EFT). With a lower EWT, a lower
water flow rate will be sufficient :

On sizes 010 to 080, the water circuit can be designed for water-saving applications. The DRY-O-TRON® is
equipped with an on/off motorized water valve and a water-regulating valve.
