Group 7 - Metal & Machinery
The Group and the Hong Kong Metals
Manufacturers Association (HKMMA)
jointly organised a business cum scenic
tour to Yunfu on 11 and 12 September
2009. Led by Group Chairman Michael Yu
and HKMMA Chairman Sze Kam-shing and
including renowned Hong Kong gourmet
Leung Man-to as an honorary leader, 80
delegates visited factories, toured some
scenic spots and had the chance to taste
local cuisines, plus the opportunity to
meet government officials to exchange
views on business collaboration.
Attended by over 40 members, a Happy
Hour Gathering was held on 3 December
2009, when Daniel Yeung, Chairman of
the Advanced Market Specialist Society,
was invited to discuss the topic of
Enterprises Risk Management and Criteria
of Sustainable Development.

A Spring Dinner was held on 5 March 2010
featuring the Master of Guoxue ( 國 學 大
師 ) Shum Yat-fei as guest speaker. His
analysis and predictions for the outlook of
the metal industry in the Year of the Tiger
were well received by the 50 members
who attended.

於 2009 年 9 月 11 至 12 日 合 辦 雲 浮 兩 天
考 察 團 , 由 分 組 主 席 余 立 明 和 金 屬 協 會
主 席 施 金 城 擔 任 團 長 、 著 名 食 家 梁 文 韜
擔 任 榮 譽 團 長 。80 多 名 團 員 除 了 到 訪
當 地 廠 房 、 參 觀 當 地 風 景 名 勝 和 品 嚐 當
地 美 食 外 , 也 有 機 會 與 當 地 政 府 官 員 會
面 , 瞭 解 兩 地 的 合 作 機 會 。
為 促 進 業 界 交 流 , 分 組 於 12 月 3 日 舉 辦
歡 樂 時 光 交 流 酒 會 ,40 多 名 會 員 出 席 。
當 日 邀 請 了 香 港 高 階 市 場 專 才 協 會 會 長
楊 元 偉 分 析 企 業 風 險 管 理 , 並 探 討 公 司
持 續 發 展 的 先 決 條 件 。
2010 年 3 月 5 日 , 分 組 舉 行 了 新 春 晚
宴 , 邀 請 著 名 商 管 專 家 兼 國 學 大 師 岑 逸
飛 分 析 和 預 測 業 界 今 年 的 運 程 和 前 景 ,
共 有 50 多 名 會 員 出 席 。
