GVSA Soccer Camp<br />

June 28–July 1 6 pm–8 pm<br />

$65 to Goran Vasic/$20 to GT (residents) $30 (non-residents)<br />

Join former Philadelphia Kixx & NJ lronman Player/<br />

Asst. Coach Goran Vasic for soccer camp. Learn<br />

fundamental skills including dribbling, passing, shooting,<br />

joggling, one-on-one defense and offense. There<br />

will be variety of fun games thru the camp. Goran<br />

currently holds a coaching license from USSF. To get<br />

more info about the camp and Goran Vasic check<br />

www.goranvasicsocceracademy.com. Campers<br />

should bring soccer shoes, shin guards, a water<br />

bottle, and a ball. Open to ages 6-14. Friday will be<br />

used as a raindate. Held at GT Community Park.<br />

Baseball Camp<br />

1. June 21–24 Ages 5-7 6–7:30 pm<br />

2. August 23–26 Ages 8-10 6–7:30 pm<br />

$40 to S. McNichol/$20 to GT (residents) $30 (non-residents)<br />

Come have fun while learning the fundamentals of<br />

baseball and enhance your skills, as Highland HS<br />

Baseball coach holds a one week camp. Fridays will<br />

be used as a raindate. Please bring proper baseball<br />

equipment: glove, bat, and a drink. Please wear<br />

cleats or sneakers. Held at the Millbridge Field.<br />

Youth Dance Class<br />

Mondays: July 12; Last Class August 16<br />

$40 to J. Meyers/$10 to GT (residents) $20 (non-residents)<br />

This dance class is the 1st step in educating your child<br />

in the world of music and dance. Children will become<br />

aware of different types of rhythm and temps and will<br />

be taught basic tap and ballet steps. This class is<br />

taught by an instructor and mom with over 25 years<br />

experience. No tap shoes, ballet shoes are not required.<br />

Mondays 5–6 pm Ages 2–4<br />

Mondays 6–7 pm Ages 5–6<br />

Jumpbunch Sports & Fitness for Kids<br />

Wednesdays: June 30; Last Class August 4<br />

$55 to JumpBunch/$10 to GT (residents) $20 (nonresidents)<br />

JumpBunch is a fun, structured program that introduces<br />

children to a wide range of sports, helps build coordination,<br />

self-esteem and a life-long love of sports and fitness.<br />

JumpBunch introduces children to sports and fitness in a<br />

non-competitive, hands-on setting. All activities are designed<br />

to improve gross motor skills, hand/eye coordination<br />

and body balance. Please wear appropriate sports attire/<br />

sneakers and provide a water bottle for each child.<br />

Wednesdays 5:30-6:15 pm Ages 3-5<br />

Wednesdays 6:30-7:15 pm Ages 6-8<br />

Swim Camp<br />

August 9-12<br />

10 am–11:30 am<br />

Cost: $60 to <strong>Gloucester</strong> Twp. or $70 to Non-residents<br />

This camp is for children ages 8 - 14 who are<br />

intermediate swimmers and have had experience with<br />

swimming and want to improve his/her techniques<br />

through learning competitive swim skills. Friday will<br />

be used as a raindate. Held at the GT Pool.<br />

Hip Hop Dance Camp<br />

July 19–30<br />

2 pm–3:30 pm 2 WEEKS!<br />

$60 to K. Coleman/$20 to GT (residents) $30 (non-residents)<br />

This dance camp gives students ages 9-15 a chance to<br />

have fun while learning dance techniques. Dance styles<br />

will include Jazz and Hip Hop. Each day the students will<br />

learn a short dance combination and practice technical<br />

skills. Students will need jazz shoes and sneakers. The<br />

camp will focus on turns, leaps, kicks, showmanship and<br />

choreography. This camp is held at the Recreation Center.<br />

College Essay Writing<br />

July 12-16<br />

$50 to Chris Ahern/$10 to GT (residents) $20 (non-residents)<br />

Give your child a head start this summer! This class is<br />

designed for high school students who are interested<br />

in creating a college entrance essay that will stand out<br />

above the rest. It is also designed for any high school<br />

student who wishes improve his or her writing. This class<br />

is led by Chris Ahern, a certified high school teacher<br />

who has his master’s degree and over twelve years<br />

experience in teaching writing. Held at Point Ariel Park.<br />

Preparing For College Workshop<br />

July 26-29<br />

7-8 pm<br />

$75 to Walt Kruc/$10 to GT (residents) $20 (non-residents)<br />

Are you unsure of where to begin in the college admissions<br />

process Experiencing College Tuition sticker shock<br />

Not sure what paperwork to file and when Attend the<br />

“Preparing for College” Workshop. This workshop will<br />

run for 4 nights and cover the following topics: The SAT,<br />

selecting the right college for your child, the application<br />

process, and financial aid. Held at Point Ariel Park.<br />

SAT Prep Course<br />

Thursdays<br />

7-9 pm 6 Weeks<br />

$250 to Walt Kruc/$10 to GT (residents) $20 (nonresidents)<br />

Held at Point Ariel Park Community Center. This course<br />

covers the Reading, Writing and Math sections of the SAT. In<br />

addition to the content curriculum, learn tips and techniques<br />

of how to beat the SAT at its own game, resulting in an<br />

increase in the student’s score. If your child experiences test<br />

anxiety or has difficulty using test prep books & prepackaged<br />

courses, this course provides an alternative. Princeton<br />

Review Book is included in cost. Open to HS grades 10-12.<br />

Oct. 9 SAT Session B/19 - 9/23<br />

Nov. 6 SAT Session 9/30 - 11/4
