Discount Tickets & Rentals The Recreation Department is offering reduced Theme Park tickets. Tickets can only be sold during business hours Monday–Thursday, 8 am–5 pm. Gazebo Rental The Gazebos at Veterans’ Park and Gloucester Township Community Park are available for 3 hour rentals. Fee: Township Residents—$30.00 Non-residents—$60.00 Pool Rental The Township Pool is available Saturday and Sunday from 6–8 pm. Fee: $150 for 2 hours Recreation Center Rent the Recreation Center for children’s birthday parties. Available for children ages 4–14. Fee: $150.00 for 2 hours 16
TBAA Youth Soccer Youth Sports Leagues & Municipal Pool Gloucester Twp Midget Football Association “Stallions” The Gloucester Township Midget Football Association Stallions is beginning its 2010 season, We are the only weight and age restricted football organization in town and have been in existence since 1972, This past year was very successful culminating with our 85lb Stallions winning the championship, three teams in the conference finals and our 70lb cheerleaders taking 1 st place in competition, All home games are played at the Blenheim Athletic Association fields located on Clementon Avenue (off the Black Horse Pike). Our program is for all children from 4 years old through 8th grade, We compete in the South Jersey Elite youth Invitational Football League, We also field cheerleading squads for children ages 4-14. Online registration begins in April and in person begins April 27 and 28 from 12–2 pm, at Blenheim. For more info visit our website at Gtstallions.org or contact Glen Leary 856-761-8332 The Timberbirch-Broadmoor Athletic Association (TBAA) is holding Fall 2010 Soccer Registration in April & May for both its Boys & Girls Travel Program and in-town Intramural Program. TBAA is a volunteer, non-profit association founded in 1964 and has over 800 players participating in our Intramural and Travel programs. The Travel Program is for players age 7 (U-8) through age 19 (U-18). TBAA offers a very competitive program that accommodates players with a wide range of skill levels, TBAA offers both free and subsidized training to all of its travel players. TBAA has supported teams that play in the MAPS and Region-1 leagues. Tryouts for the Fall travel teams are in early May. TBAA’s Intramural Program is open to boys & girls aged 4 to 8. Our goal is to teach fundamental soccer, ball skills, sportsmanship & teamwork, all in an enjoyable, non-competitive atmosphere, To maximize player development, we offer small sided games (3 v 3) & (4 v 4) as endorsed by the US Soccer Federation. There is also free, professional instruction provided by our travel team trainers. For more information on in-person registration dates or to register online, please visit our website at www.TBAA.net Municipal Pool The Township pool is located in the Glen Oaks section of the Township, at the end of Roosevelt Dr. Membership is open to Township. Residents only. Pool registrations will be held at the Recreation Center beginning Monday, May 3 and continuing throughout the season. The pool and snack bar will open in June. The pool hours are 12 pm–8 pm weekdays and 11 am–6 pm weekends and holidays. Pool Membership Fees Full Season Family $240.00 Weekday Only Family $180.00 Non-Peak Family $150.00 5-Pack of guest passes $20.00 Full Season Single $120.00 Weekday Only Single $90.00 Non-Peak Single $72.00 Non-Peak membership is valid Mon-Fri 4–8 pm and 11 am–6 pm weekends and holidays only. Proof of residency is required at registration for all adults and adult children, over the age of 18, in your household (drivers license & utility bill). Family membership is limited to the actual number of persons living in your household year-round. It cannot include in-laws, visiting relatives or day-care providers who do not live In your home on a permanent basis. We will verify children using school records. Swim Lessons Pool Members Lessons will be held the weeks of July 12, 26 and August 16, Monday–Thursday (Friday is raindate) before the pool opens. Cost is $15 per week, per child. Register at the pool beginning June 14th. Residents (Non-Members) Session 1 is June 24 through July 24 (No July 3) Session 2 is July 31 through August 28 All sessions are 5 Weeks and will be held the same times. Lessons are taught by our Lifeguards and class sizes are limited.
