The Chenier plain area and the southern Chandeleur Islands were surveyed to complete the coast-wide coverage areas begun in 2006. Surveys covered from five kilometers (km) offshore to two km bayward of the shoreline. In addition to bathymetry data, USGS collected sonar and seismic data along all the offshore lines and did a complete sidescan sonar mosaic of the gulf side of the Chandeleur Islands. Data, grid models, and change models from all field work are finalized (Figures 8, 9, and 10). Figure 8.
