Tropical Storm Debby. Shoreline recession <strong>and</strong> erosion are highest at the center of the<br />
constructed <strong>isl<strong>and</strong></strong> where the largest l<strong>and</strong>mass existed prior to construction.<br />
There has been a measurable reduction in the berm crest elevation, likely due to overwash. It is<br />
estimated that more than 50% of the overwash occurred between the as-built <strong>and</strong> 30-day<br />
monitoring surveys. It is thought that this overwash is a result of nor‟easter storm events <strong>and</strong> the<br />
