eTrust Directory Modules
RDBMS Tools
The RDBMS tools provide support for the RDBMS. See the Advantage Ingres
product documentation set for further details.
DXwebserver
The DXwebserver enables access to the DXserver process through web-based
GUIs, including:
DXmanager
A graphical, web-based eTrust Directory administration tool
JXweb
A graphical web-based LDAP directory browser and editor
UDDI Client
A graphical web-based browser for a UDDI Server
You can also create your own web-based GUIs to suit your organization.
Three technology previews are also provided for testing and demonstration
purposes. These reside in the ../dxwebserver/samples subdirectories:
democorp
This is a version of JXweb that has been customized to work well with the
fictional company Democorp.
dsml
This is a sample DSML server that converts DSML to LDAP and vice versa.
This allows client applications that use DSML (including web services) to
communicate with eTrust Directory without using LDAP directly.
uddi
This is a demonstration of a typical application of a UDDI server. It shows a
web site that compares prices on airline flights by looking up the prices on
different web servers, which are registered with a UDDI server.
Each sample includes a Readme that describes how to install the sample.
