green. The color of James’s jersey does not begin with r or g.

You know that James has one jersey that is not
blue, and the name of the color does not begin
with r or g. Abigail has one jersey that is not blue
or black. Chris has two jerseys that are not green.
You need to find out which color jersey belongs
to each person.
Choose a strategy.
You have pieces of information that can help you
figure out the correct answer. You will use logical
reasoning to figure out the answer.
Use the pieces of information you have to help
you figure out which color jersey each player has.
Write yes or no for each piece of information you
have. Once you have a yes in a square, you can
fill in the rest of the row and column with nos
(except for Chris, who has two jerseys):

Check to see if you are correct:
