Wish for a Closer Information Integration<br />

between <strong>Port</strong> and Custom IT System<br />

Advantages for clients:<br />

•Canceling <strong>of</strong> annex entering on disposition<br />

•Canceling <strong>of</strong> DOI entering on disposition<br />

•Canceling <strong>of</strong> DDD CARIN disposition (subsequently send VCP), DDD DOI (subsequently send DOI-a)<br />

•Cargo status change (import custom clearance) without sending DDD SSMER<br />

I. Phase Agreed Activities<br />

First phase <strong>of</strong> information integration will be carried out by Luka<br />

<strong>Koper</strong> pilot project with an EU project MOS4MOS (TEN-T).<br />

In practice integration <strong>of</strong> the port and customs IT will represent an<br />

additional control <strong>of</strong> in-bound data submitted by customers on port<br />

entrance check point. Primarily the accuracy <strong>of</strong> customs controls will<br />

be checked – associating MRN with other data.
